The mysterious maestro of good leaps forward with yo-yo in hand flinging it at his opponent, an evil-underground beatnik bent on terrorizing the masses with his “new world” daddy-O lingo. DC: New Frontier

It is a time period of panic and scare, as the threat of a red invasion looms over the thoughts of American citizens. The red scare has lead to not only the persecution to people working in the movies but also to the heroes who once protected America from evil criminals and meta-human threats. Vietnam brings panic to the citizens and only the two legally active super heroes Superman and Wonder Woman fight against Vietcong to protect America’s freedom. Yet a losing war effort against enemies on foreign soil is not the biggest threat to United States but rather it is mysterious Center. Continue reading

Comics the Re-written History

A hand reaches out for you to grasp, it seems oddly familiar but also very strange. Grabbing for the hand it slowly becomes an opaque white and loses all tangible form, reaching through the ghostly limb it becomes lost in a forgotten time stream never to be reclaimed. Staring up to the sky to scream a big rubber pencil eraser descends, horrified you try and avoid the it but find yourself becoming opaque just like the hand you had reached for. Being forgotten, lost, drifting through a dimension of lost time only to be read about in back issues collecting dust in a comic books store’s long boxes. Continue reading
